Motorway A8 Milan – Laghi or A26 Genoa – Gravellona Toce. Exit Sesto Calende – Vergiate. Follow the direction of Besozzo – Laveno to take the highway to Luino Laveno (i.e., immediately after the motorway toll booth at the first fork on the right, at the second fork on the left and immediately after that again on the right). At the traffic lights in Travedona Monate turn left towards Ispra. Go past the town of Cadrezzate and, at the bottom of the hill, turn left following the white sign for CASA DON GUANELLA. Once you enter the hamlet of Barza, at the first sharp bend on the left, take the gate on the right.
